# Data Cleaning on Windows (CLI)

When you need to clean up the Titan Edge's data, the operation will vary depending on whether the `TITAN_EDGE_PATH` or `EDGE_PATH` environment variable is set. Please follow the guide below:

**No environment variable set**

If you **have not specified** the `TITAN_EDGE_PATH` or `EDGE_PATH` environment variable, you need to delete the default Titan Edge data directory. Please execute the following command:

```bash
rmdir /s /q %USERPROFILE%.titanedge
```

**Environment Variables Already Set**

If you **have specified** the `TITAN_EDGE_PATH` or `EDGE_PATH` environment variables, you should remove the specific directories pointed to by these environment variables. Please select the appropriate command to execute according to your environment variable settings:

* If you set the `TITAN_EDGE_PATH` :

```bash
rmdir /s /q %TITAN_EDGE_PATH%
```

* If you set the `EDGE_PATH` :

```bash
rmdir /s /q %EDGE_PATH%
```

These commands will delete the directory specified by the environment variable and all its contents.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.titanapp.info/titan-network-en/resource-network-test/operate-nodes/l2-edge-node/installation-and-earnings/clear-up-old-node-data/data-cleaning-on-windows-cli.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
